What can you hear on Radio Eye?

Radio Eye airs a locally produced broadcast in which volunteers read state, regional, and local newspapers, including the Lexington Herald-Leader and the Louisville Courier-Journal. Lexington and Kentucky Obituaries are read each day at 8:30 am (9:30 am Sundays) during the Herald-Leader and at 11:30 am during the Courier-Journal.

We also provide a half hour program of sports news from the papers each day.

Every weekday morning you can hear an adapted exercise program and a health program, in which Radio Eye volunteers read health newsletters and health periodicals from such reliable sources as Mayo Clinic, Johns Hopkins, Harvard Health, etc.

Weekday mornings we also broadcast our Kentucky Series, providing readings from local magazines such as The Kentucky Explorer and The Lane Report and other Kentucky literature of interest to our listeners.

Full Details of our 24-hour broadcasting schedule can be found in the Radio Eye Program Guide.
