Winter Weather
In the event of bad weather:
1. We typically follow Fayette County Public Schools – if they’re closed, we’ll be closed.
2. The staff will call the volunteers who are scheduled to record in studio for the day and will announce the closing on social media. If you are unsure if Radio Eye is open, please check social media or email the office.
3. If we are open, please remember that the decision whether or not to come in always rests with the volunteer. If you decide the weather is too bad to risk coming, please call us at 859-422-6390.
Please note that even if the studio itself is closed, staff will still be working from home and keeping the broadcast running as usual. If you are a volunteer and comfortable reading from home when the office is closed, please do so! We’ll be available via emal.
